Las Almas is returning to La Bruja, joined by amazing guest singer Vero Freidkes. Las Almas is an all-women tango ensemble made up of bandoneonist Heyni Solera, pianist Sumi Lee, and violinist Teagan Faran. Arrive on time to enjoy the concert, and then stay for the dancing! With DJ Robert playing traditional tango music.

Those who arrive between 7:00 and 7:40 will be seated during the applause between pieces.
This is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead and follow. Drinks (full bar) and empanadas are offered for sale (cards accepted for refreshments).
This event takes place in the ballroom on the second floor. The floor is slippery. To enter the building, ring the bell and say “tango!” We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, enter through the service entrance at left, and then go straight to reach the back courtyard.
