Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla revolutionized tango music and brought it to the modern world stage with his trademark sound of nuevo tango. Now an ensemble formed in his name celebrates the centennial of his birth and his inspirational fusion of tango with classical music, jazz, and other genres.
