Cancelled May 4th: Mira at La Bruja

This class is cancelled on Wednesday, May 4th.  It is happening on Wednesdays April 27th, May 11th, May 18th, and May 25th.

This all-levels beginner-friendly class will focus on technique and connection. We will study a theme each week such as walking, rhythmic variations, pivots, etc. and we will explore the technical aspects for both roles as well as how to use this element to express the music and deepen connection with our partner.

This is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead or follow. No partner necessary.

7:00-8:00 pm class
8:00-10:00 pm guided practica

$20 class and practica (general)
$15 class and practica (student with ID)
$10 practica only (no class)

Masks are required when you are not actively eating or drinking.

This class takes place in the Berkeley City Club ballroom (2nd floor). To enter the building, ring the bell and say “tango.”

You can dine before class at Julia’s Restaurant in the Berkeley City Club, or purchase a drink at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge (until 9:00 pm).

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. No non-member parking in the Berkeley City Club lot. Street parking is free after 6:00.
