La Bruja: Fundamentals class with Felipe and Ayano

Class on the fundamentals of tango with Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda.

This is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead or follow. No partner necessary.

7:00-8:00 pm class
8:00-10:00 pm guided practica

$20 class and practica (general)
$15 class and practica (student with ID)
$10 practica only (no class)

Proof of vaccination and ID required. Masks are mandatory.  We are now requiring N95, KN95, or KF94 masks.  If you don’t have one, we have some extras.

This class takes place in the drawing room of the Berkeley City Club, which has a tile floor.  It’s slippery enough since we added some baby powder, but it is not completely flat because the space between the tiles is lower.  To enter the building, ring the bell and say “tango.”

You can dine before class at Julia’s Restaurant in the Berkeley City Club, or purchase a drink at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge (until 9:00 pm).

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. No non-member parking in the Berkeley City Club lot. Street parking is free after 6:00.
